Mark-Up Mess-Up

Message From Space | by Anonymous

I know it’s hard for local shops. You’re forced to compete with chain retailers that use big buying power to set unreasonably low prices. That’s why I’ll always make an effort to support businesses like yours — even if it means paying a little more. But I have to draw the line when you’re selling something at more than twice the price I would pay a supplier. If I can easily get your $100 product for less than $40, it’s you doing something wrong — not the economy, not big box stores and not me. Your loyal customers want you to make a profit so your business will stay healthy, but please stop gouging us with greedy mark-ups. You’re going to lose our business, and then we ALL lose.
