As if the six-week federal election campaign wasn’t scary enough, now we have to deal with Halloween. Oh well, here are some orange-and-black themed activities to further curdle your blood and freak you out. Thursday 24

KIDS FUN ZONE This event includes a Halloween-themed obstacle course and other activities. Berry Barn, Oct. 24-31, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Family admission $10, proceeds go to Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation. See berrybarn.ca.

RIVERSDALE SILENT CLASSICS SERIES Screening is the 1922 Danish horror film Häxan (or Witchcraft Through the Ages) with an original score performed live by The Garrys. Roxy Theatre, 8:30 p.m. See rainbowcinemas.ca.
